Tulare-Kings Right to Life constantly seeks to reach out to new people — especially those who never give a thought to pro-life issues.
It's important to affect their hearts because eventually, everyone is touched by decisions regarding life.
We all have neighbors, friends, and even relatives who have had or participated in abortions.
There are other life issues, too. Sometimes they come upon us unexpectedly.
For example, a loved one is admitted into the hospital. He's in critical condition. Suddenly, a nurse is in your face asking if you want your loved one to be "Code Blue" in case of a heart attack? You don't even know what that means. When you find out it means "resuscitate" ... you wonder why they're asking you? Don't they know? You're under enormous stress and you don't know how to respond.
Or your grandmother is in a convalescent home and the doctors are recommending withholding medications.
These are difficult issues and we provide information to help you make informed decisions — before events like this happen — so that you're prepared to make a choice for life.
In addition, we all face life and death issues in the voting booth, dealing with euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, and human cloning.
Tulare-Kings Right to Life strives to present these critical life and end-of-life issues to the public.
On the next pages are some of our Pro-Life Community Outreach activities.
