Bristol Palin to Speak in Visalia

In 2008, Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, was suddenly thrust into the media spotlight when she became pregnant — at the tender age of 17 — during the presidential campaign.

She immediately became America's most high-profile teen mother. As a result, teen pregnancy, abortion, and abstinence became a much-discussed topic throughout America.

Bristol, like her mother, is outspoken on the issues. She believes in speaking frankly about the realities of teen pregnancy and motherhood. She also speaks on abstinence, faith, and life.

She is a spokeswoman for the Candie’s Foundation and has appeared in the ABC drama, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” She is also working on a book.
